FAQ's
Can the SunSaver Power-Flex charge my phone directly from the sun?
Yes, depending on what type of phone you have and how sunny it is. Smartphones have a ‘minimum charging current’ that must be met before they will accept charge, so in order for the Power-Flex to charge them directly, it must be a sunny enough day to meet this current. Because of the Power-Flex’s relatively small size, it may not be able to charge some phones that have a high charging threshold.
However, because the SunSaver 10K has such a low minimum charging current, it can be charged by the Power-Flex even in low light conditions; the 10K can then be used to charge any smartphone.
Is the SunSaver Power-Flex compatible with other brands of power bank?
Yes. However, many other power banks have a higher ‘minimum charging current’ compared to SunSaver power banks. This means that the Power-Flex will not be able to charge them in lower light conditions.
