What to do if there is a problem with the item(s) you purchased from SunSaver:
New Zealand Consumer Law
When purchasing from SunSaver you are covered by all New Zealand consumer protection law, including the Fair Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Some of your key rights under these laws are:
- You will not be mislead or deceived about the things that you buy.
- The things that you buy will be of acceptable quality; fit for purpose; match their description.
If you believe that any of your rights under New Zealand Consumer Law have been breached when purchasing from SunSaver, please let us know as soon as possible.

Product Faults and Defects
If the product you receive is not what you ordered, please do not use the product and let as know as soon as possible so that we can arrange to swap it for the correct item(s).
If your order arrived and anything is faulty, broken, or damaged in any way, please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange for the product to be sent back to us for inspection. If it is confirmed that the product is faulty or damaged, then we will replace it free of charge.
If a problem with your product occurs after a period of time, please let us know as soon as the problem arises so that we can assist. When you are still within the product warranty period, we will send a new replacement item once the product fault has been confirmed. A proof of purchase will be required to confirm the warranty.

- We will arrange for delivery of your item back to us for assessment.
- We will confirm when the product arrives and after we have assessed it.
- A new replacement product will be sent to you.
Change of Mind
If you change your mind and no longer want your SunSaver product, you can return it to us for a refund within 14 days of the product being delivered, if the product is unopened and unused.
You can also swap the unwanted item for a different SunSaver product if the unwanted item is unopened and unused.
In this case the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the product. It is best to get a tracking number when you send the product back.
A refund to the buyer’s bank account will be made once the product has been returned and it is confirmed that the product is unopened and unused.
If you change your mind, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can give further information on how to return the product.
