16,000mAh power bank with multiple USB outputs
Our most popular power bank size, the Classic strikes the perfect balance between weight and capacity, making it an ideal choice for on-the-go charging. With the ability to fully recharge a smartphone 2.5 – 5.5 times*, this power bank packs a punch without weighing you down.
The Classic includes multiple USB outputs to charge several devices simultaneously and now with USB Type-C, it can charge and be charged nice and fast.
*Based on a 4,000mAh and 1,800mAh battery capacity, respectively.
Built tough for the outdoors
The Classic power bank is undoubtedly the toughest of its kind. Engineered to be shockproof, dustproof, and water-resistant, this power bank can withstand any situation so you can rely on it to charge your phone even in the most extreme environments – whether you’re climbing a mountain or crossing a desert.
Solar power
Unlike typical power banks that become useless when they run out of charge, SunSaver power banks feature a built-in solar panel that lets you get free power from the sun. While it will take longer to fully recharge the power bank from the sun compared to the USB input, just one week of good sunshine can store up to an extra charge for your phone – a pretty impressive feat!
If you’re looking for a much faster and reliable way to recharge the power bank from the sun, you can easily plug in an additional solar panel like the SunSaver Power-Boost.
Please note: Solar charging time is slow and varies based on many factors, such as the time of day and year, and location. The 1-Watt solar panel will not generate enough power for a daily phone charge.
LED flashlight
The SunSaver Classic is more than just a power bank – it’s also a versatile solar torch that’s perfect for blackouts and emergency situations. With powerful 110-Lumen LED lights, this torch can easily illuminate a campsite, while still being efficient enough to provide over 50 hours of light from a single charge of the power bank.
And in case of an emergency, the light features strobe and SOS modes, making it an indispensable tool whether you’re having an impromptu rave or you get lost at sea.
2-Year warranty
All SunSaver products come with a standard 2-year warranty to give you peace of mind.

Will the solar panel on a SunSaver Classic power bank be sufficient to charge my phone every day using just solar power?
The solar panel on a SunSaver Classic power bank can generate some extra power from the sun, though its small size means it won’t be sufficient to charge your phone every day. For instance, if you leave the power bank outside for a week in sunny weather, it may only generate enough power to fully recharge a smartphone once. However, this is still better than having no charging option at all!
If you want to rely on solar power for everyday charging, you may want to consider using an additional USB solar panel that you can connect to the SunSaver Classic. This will help recharge the power bank faster from the sun and provide you with more solar power to keep your phone charged while you’re on the move or away from power outlets.

Can the SunSaver Classic be taken on a plane?

Exactly how long does it take to fully recharge the SunSaver Classic from the sun?
The exact time it takes to fully recharge a SunSaver Classic from the sun depends on various factors, so it’s difficult to give a precise answer. In ideal conditions of direct and strong sunlight, it would take at least 80 hours to fully recharge the battery, although in reality, it will take longer. However, it’s worth noting that even though it may take a while, having a solar panel is still beneficial as it generates free power and provides an alternative charging option to a power bank without a solar panel.
If you want to speed up the charging process, you can use a SunSaver Super-Flex 20-Watt panel, which would take only 1-2 days of solar to fully recharge the SunSaver Classic, or a SunSaver Power-Flex 6.4-Watt panel, which would take about 2-4 days. These additional solar panels can be connected to the SunSaver Classic for faster and more efficient solar charging.
How long does a SunSaver Classic last for?
The lifespan of a lithium battery, such as the one used in the SunSaver Classic, depends on how it is used and stored. The battery can handle over 500 cycles of being fully charged and then completely drained. For example, if the power bank charges your phone 4 times from one full charge, it could give you over 2,000 charges over its lifetime, which is a lot! However, after a few years, the battery performance will slowly start to degrade.
To extend the battery’s lifespan, you should avoid exposing it to high temperatures, avoid completely discharging it, use the correct charger, and store it with a partial charge (somewhere between 40-60%).

Being a hunter I can be in the bush for days. Weight is always an issue. Big power banks that you require for multi days out weigh a lot. With the SunSaver power bank being rugged and able to be recharged by the sun is perfect. I leave the power bank out in the sun while away from camp helps keeps the power bank charged. I am able to use a smaller power bank for the longer trips saving weight. With the 3 in 1 cable I can also charge all my devices at one.
An awesome product. The power bank works very well. Thanks so much!
We are very pleased with the power bank. It is very sturdy and it’s great being able to charge multiple devices at once. It’s a little slow in charging but keeping that in mind an planning appropriately, it’s not an issue
Charges well and great that it has a flash light built in
Best powerbank I've used. Its perfect for me with my fumble fingers always dropping things. And all my coworkers ask to borrow it (2 will now likely buy their own). Charge lasts forever, and while it might take a bit to recharge, I just leave it plugged in overnight when needed.
