Will the solar panel on a SunSaver Classic power bank be sufficient to charge my phone every day using just solar power?
The solar panel on a SunSaver Classic power bank can generate some extra power from the sun, though its small size means it won’t be sufficient to charge your phone every day. For instance, if you leave the power bank outside for a week in sunny weather, it may only generate enough power to fully recharge a smartphone once. However, this is still better than having no charging option at all!
If you want to rely on solar power for everyday charging, you may want to consider using an additional USB solar panel that you can connect to the SunSaver Classic. This will help recharge the power bank faster from the sun and provide you with more solar power to keep your phone charged while you’re on the move or away from power outlets.

SunSaver Classic power banks can recharge a variety of electronic devices that can be powered with a USB cable. This includes smartphones, tablets, cameras, portable speakers, e-readers, smartwatches, and fitness trackers.
In addition to these, SunSaver Classic power banks can also recharge other small electronic devices like gaming controllers, LED lights, USB fans, portable air purifiers, and mini projectors. So if you’re going on a trip or an outdoor adventure and need to keep your electronic devices powered up, a power bank can come in handy for charging them on the go.
Can the SunSaver Classic be taken on a plane?
Yes, the SunSaver Classic is generally safe to bring on a plane, as its battery has a capacity of less than 100 Watt-hours (Wh). However, it can only be carried on as carry-on luggage and not checked in. Exactly how long does it take to fully recharge the SunSaver Classic from the sun?
The exact time it takes to fully recharge a SunSaver Classic from the sun depends on various factors, so it’s difficult to give a precise answer. In ideal conditions of direct and strong sunlight, it would take at least 80 hours to fully recharge the battery, although in reality, it will take longer. However, it’s worth noting that even though it may take a while, having a solar panel is still beneficial as it generates free power and provides an alternative charging option to a power bank without a solar panel.
If you want to speed up the charging process, you can use a SunSaver Super-Flex 20-Watt panel, which would take only 1-2 days of solar to fully recharge the SunSaver Classic, or a SunSaver Power-Flex 6.4-Watt panel, which would take about 2-4 days. These additional solar panels can be connected to the SunSaver Classic for faster and more efficient solar charging.
How long does a SunSaver Classic last for?
The lifespan of a lithium battery, such as the one used in the SunSaver Classic, depends on how it is used and stored. The battery can handle over 500 cycles of being fully charged and then completely drained. For example, if the power bank charges your phone 4 times from one full charge, it could give you over 2,000 charges over its lifetime, which is a lot! However, after a few years, the battery performance will slowly start to degrade.
To extend the battery’s lifespan, you should avoid exposing it to high temperatures, avoid completely discharging it, use the correct charger, and store it with a partial charge (somewhere between 40-60%).

My wife loved the gift and has used mine a lot, great to have a reliable source of backup power... For her words ape when phone is running low. Thanks very much.
Great product excellent for when away in camper and in the bush hunting
Being a hunter I can be in the bush for days. Weight is always an issue. Big power banks that you require for multi days out weigh a lot. With the SunSaver power bank being rugged and able to be recharged by the sun is perfect. I leave the power bank out in the sun while away from camp helps keeps the power bank charged. I am able to use a smaller power bank for the longer trips saving weight. With the 3 in 1 cable I can also charge all my devices at one.
An awesome product. The power bank works very well. Thanks so much!
We are very pleased with the power bank. It is very sturdy and it’s great being able to charge multiple devices at once. It’s a little slow in charging but keeping that in mind an planning appropriately, it’s not an issue
